Territory Sales Representative

Supplier of back-up power systems has an opening for a Territory Sales Representative. Primary markets include Telecommunications, UPS, control and switchgear. Through the acquisition of market leading companies and the addition of highly motivated, talented individuals, we have expanded operations to become one of the largest independent distributor and service organizations of its kind in the United States. We are seeking a highly motivated, success-driven individual to aggressively develop new business, and expand relationships within our existing customer base.

As a Territory Sales Representative for our products and services, responsibilities will include management of the entire sales process, Including

* Developing leads from Industry sources.
* Prospecting for new business.
* Visiting customer facilities to evaluate needs, and develop solutions.
* Presenting prospects with specific, meaningful solutions.
* Developing a strong grasp of the features and capabilities of multiple product lines.
* Developing a strong understanding of customer applications and solutions.
* Exceeding our customer’s expectations.
* Some travel required.

Ideal candidates will have;

* Successful background in outside sales, with a minimum of 2 years experience.
* The ability to secure new business.
* Proven success In sales and negotiating skills.
* Demonstrated skills at effective territory management.
* High degree of Initiative.
* Strong customer service/solutions focus.
* Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
* Be computer literate.
* A background in our industry is a plus.
